About Pusat Tuisyen Iktibar

Pusat Tuisyen Iktibar was founded in 2001 by the late Mr. Thamo, a passionate educator who built the center from humble beginnings into a respected local brand known for academic excellence. With deep dedication to his students, he believed education was not only about mastering subjects but also about shaping character and inspiring confidence. Beyond teaching, he often shared meaningful life lessons that helped students grow both academically and personally.

He was well-recognised for his innovative approach to Mathematics. Drawing inspiration from ancient Vedic Maths, he developed his own system called Smart Maths, which helped students view Mathematics in a creative, simplified, and exciting way. His work earned him interviews on television channels and radio stations, and he authored two books that introduced unique formulas and methods to improve mathematical understanding.

Although he passed away in 2017, his values, teachings, and blessings continue to guide the centre. Today, Pusat Tuisyen Iktibar remains committed to carrying forward his legacy of excellence, discipline, inspiration, and meaningful education for every student who walks through our doors.
